Welcome to my eFolio. Here you can explore some of the work I have done over the course of San Francisco State's Masters in Public Health program. The program has provided me the opportunities to strengthen my capabilities in community health assessment, program planning, evaluation, epidemiology and healthcare administration. The progam's emphasis on community health has broadened my abilities to work with diverse communities; examine public health from an ecological perspective and understand the relationships that exist between the social, economic and physical environments. Some of my projects have included those related to the built environment and its impact on physical activity, a comprehensive workplace physical activity program and incorporating cultural competency into media trainings for public health professionals.
